A Little Introduction
I would like to introduce you to our smart and sporty client Philip! He has been with Compass since July 2024. If you are looking for an adventure this is the guy that you want to be around, you will not be disappointed. Philip lives with his mother in the east bay he has been on a journey to find a day program that will accept him part time, so he is able to live his life to the fullest and continue with going after his dreams.
Always Ready for Adventure
Philip is the kind of person who’s always up for a game, whether it’s rolling a bocce ball across the lawn on a sunny afternoon or gliding across the ice at the local rink. When the weather’s right, you can usually find him on the golf course, taking unhurried swings and soaking in the fresh air.
Favorite Foods
Philip favorite foods are carbs. He loves the comforting warmth of fresh-baked breads and the simple satisfaction of a perfectly cooked bowl of rice. But nothing compares to the joy he finds in pizza. It’s more than food for him; it’s an experience, a small bit of heaven each time he takes a bite. Among all the places he’s tried, one spot has completely won him over: the delightfully named “Pizza My Heart,” a place he holds as dearly as the pizza itself.
A Love for Sports
Philip earned 4th place playing golf in the Special Olympics. And if there’s a pickle-ball match happening nearby, there’s no doubt they’ll jump in competitive enough to make it fun, but laid-back enough to keep everyone laughing.
Music and Talents
Fun Fact about Philip, He plays the snare drum which dates back to the medieval and Renaissance days. He also plays the Kalimba. The kalimba is a small African thumb piano that produces soft, melodic tones when its metal tines are plucked. Based on traditional instruments like the mbira, it has a wooden body that helps amplify its gentle sound. Its simplicity and calming tone have made it popular around the world.
A Gift for Connection
Philip enjoys the company of others, creating genuine conversations. He has a natural warmth that draws people in, making even strangers feel the need to engage. He is able to chat about anything and carry-on great conversations. So if you see Philip at an event make sure to stop and say hi!
