A Beloved Member of the Compass Family
For the past nine years, Christy has been an important part of the Compass family, sharing her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit with everyone she meets.
The Joy of Everyday Adventures
Christy’s life is full of activities she loves—swimming, bowling, peaceful walks in the park, and spending quality time with her dedicated SLS staff, Ilaisaane and Roshell. Her large collection of stuffed animals brings her comfort and joy, and her baby doll is always close by, a constant companion on all her adventures.
Simple Moments, Deep Connections
One of Christy’s favorite outings is enjoying a burger and fries at The Habit Burger Grill—a treat that becomes even more special when shared with her staff during a lunch out together. She also loves participating in Compass events throughout the year. Among her favorites was the Spring Fling event at Heather Farms Park, where she laughed, played games, listened to music, and planted spring flowers to take home.
A Faithful and Cherished Friend
Every Sunday, Christy attends church, where she has become a beloved member of the congregation. Her presence brings joy to those around her, and she is greeted with warmth and excitement by friends who have come to cherish her gentle yet bright spirit.
Growing in Confidence and Generosity
Over the years, Christy has made incredible strides in feeling more comfortable with new people and unfamiliar places. While she may be a bit shy at first, that shyness quickly gives way to the energetic, happy, and caring young woman she truly is. Christy’s openness to new experiences and her willingness to share her kindness with others beautifully embody the heart of giving—showing that generosity is not only about what we do, but about the love and joy we share along the way.
