SLS Supervisor, Shasta & Siskiyou County
In 2012, hungry for adventure and a challenge, my wife and I moved our family from Australia to Northern California. With a background in business systems development and Life Coaching, I was excited to find an opportunity to put to use my skills in an area I’d discovered right out of high school and been involved with in various capacities for many years, serving people with special needs.
I started with Compass a few short months after moving here, working in the field in SLS and quickly promoting to ILS Coach. One thing I discovered immediately, about the culture of Compass, was that it’s core values were fundamental to making day to day decisions; something I had not experienced to such a degree elsewhere. I determined that Compass was a place where I could personally grow and pour into others, seeing them discover and go after their own dreams.
I am excited to say that over a number of years, and a handful of promotions, I now have the privilege to be one of Compass’ SLS Supervisors in the Far North area. I get to cover and lead a team of incredible individuals, making a difference everyday, in the lives of people from Redding all the way to the Oregon border.
My wife and I, and our five daughters, have come to love this corner of the world. We are thrilled to call it home and enjoying the endless opportunities to explore the outdoors, as well as being involved with theatre and the creative arts.
