Preparing for your retreat

Are you ready for your retreat?  Here are a few things to add to your checklist:

Covid Testing:  

Every retreat attendee will need to take an at-home test before or day of their retreat.  Be prepared to show a picture of your results when you arrive at the meeting location.

Packing:

Are you all packed?  Scroll to see the recommended packing list below.  Don’t forget to pack items for the themed meals.  Make sure you have a good plan for transporting medications.

Themed Meals

One of the unique experiences of this retreat is our themed meals.

Each lunch and dinner will focus on a particular Disney movie.  You are encouraged to dress the part!  This means you could come as a character from that movie or another creative costume you find.  We will have special badges that we will be giving out for participation in each themed meal.  Check out the themes we have chosen.

Additional Information

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

Transportation is provided and the specific details will be planned ahead of time for each region. Your staff or CF/ILSM will give you these details at least a week before your retreat. You will be leaving sometime in the morning on the first day and returning in the afternoon/evening on the last day of the retreat.

SAFETY

In light of the ever-changing topography of Covid, we will exercise all covid safety measures and precautions that are relevant at the time of your retreat.  We do want to be cautious and careful.  It is possible you will be asked to test prior to your retreat but we will confirm this with you at the time of your retreat.

PETS

Pets are not allowed on the Carrville property.

SMOKING

There are designated smoking areas on the property.  Your retreat leader will communicate where those are upon arrival.
