CONSULTANT BIO

Melanie Bazile Anderson

Melanie has been serving the I/DD community in a leadership capacity for over 30 years in various settings including Day Services, Supported Living and Independent Living. Melanie received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from CSU Sacramento. Melanie is passionate about innovation, organizational culture, person-centered approaches and helping teams to be the best version of themselves.

Melanie has extensive experience consulting, developing content and curriculum and training teams.  Melanie has a vault of valuable experience and is a gifted trainer and consultant. She has received formal training and/or certifications in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and Managers, The Speed of Trust, Lean Six Sigma, Four Disciplines of Execution, Strategic Planning, Non-Traditional Communication, Languages of Appreciation, Relationships and Sexuality for People with Disabilities, end of life and futures planning, adaptive leisure, team building, employee coaching, Crisis and Conflict Resolution, and Person-Centered Thinking. Melanie is currently the Director of Innovation and Expansion at Compass.
